Tuesday I once again had the day to myself. This time I decided to head to the coast and
visit Santa Monica.
When I arrived it
was very pleasant sunny and 65 with a bit of a breeze.
The closer I got to the pier the windier it got. There was quite a strong wind coming off of
the ocean. I wondered up and down the
pier taking in the amusement park, people fishing, and the trapeze school.
I enjoyed lunch on the beach and finished up the day at the playground/fitness area on the beach.
It had been windy all day, but by mid-afternoon it became a mini sandstorm. Everything actually looked hazy. I had my hair pulled back into a braid, but you can see in the pictures below that the wind was making quick work of pulling out wisps and giving me a hair halo.
I headed back to Emily’s apartment completely relaxed and only a little sunburned.
